Do You See a Touirsm Application For This Technology?

  1. An Idea for tourism would be to use the barcodes on travel shows to scan directly to air, motel, or community bureaus, also for sports games on tv to scan and go to ticket sales directly, even with hotels and transportation packages too!

  2. Also, the shows on channels like PBS that have people traveling all over the world to different festivals and unique locations could have the code on the screen. You can scan it and it'll take you to their website where you have all the information about visiting.

  3. it's a little harder to think of a way for tourism because we try to sell an experience and not an item. however, barcodes can really be made for anything. so like kaylan said, hotel rooms and airfare can have barcodes made for them. viewers can look up the info and purchase their tickets or make their reservations right there. it would definately be a little more difficult unless people were looking for that stuff particularly. it wouldnt be an impulse buy.
